Chill country vibes
Had a solid 2-night stay here. The room was super comfy and clean. It’s nice being close to Kielder Forest for some nature exploring. The bar had a good atmosphere, and the food was simple but tasty. That said, could really do without the flies in the loo. They just need to pay a bit more attention to the cleanliness.

stayed for 1 night in the budget double room and it was pretty comfy. the receptionist in the morning was super helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast, even though it was just okay for 10 pounds. the pub area was welcoming and the locals were nice, which made the atmosphere friendly. our room was clean and tidy, definetly appreciated that. also, there was plenty of free parking on site.

Perfect for a cozy escape
The bar had a nice atmosphere with friendly locals. The breakfast was some of the best I've ever had, piping hot & hearty, can't emphasize that enough!
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but I'd say it was worth the price.

Had a great stay with super tasty dinner and breakfast options that were perfectly cooked! The place is perfect for relaxing with a cozy bar and a lovely garden area to chill in. Just a heads up, the floorboards creaked a bit, but it didn’t ruin the vibe at all! 😊

The stay was quite short, just for one night, and primarily for a transit. I appreciated the friendly staff who were always willing to assist, making the experience more pleasant. the room was rather basic, with some cleanliness issues like stained towels and cobwebs, and the noise from the road was bothersome.

I had a chance to enjoy a nice evening meal, and the pizzas were good. The atmosphere in the bar was lively, and I struck up conversations with the friendly locals, which made the experience enjoyable. As a single fashion photographer, I appreciated a place where I could relax and connect with others.
The check-in process was chaotic, and when I arrived, I found the hotel closed. I had to drive quite a distance to find a restroom, which was frustrating.
